Reading Incentive Program
"Reach for the Stars"
A reading incentive program that gets kids
excited about reading and rewards them with books to keep them reading
after the program ends!
100% of pledges for student readers are
returned
to the students and school in the form of books!
Here's how it works...

Students accept the challenge to read, or be read to,
for a set goal of minutes during the program
-
Students and parents record the number of minutes read
on student's reading log sheet
-
Children sign-up sponsors who pledge a donation for the total
minutes the child reads (or
is read to) for a three-week period.
Reading material can include homework assignments, books,
newspapers, and magazines.
(15 to 30 mins.
/5 nights per week as determined by your school)

When the program is complete and all pledges are
turned in, students and the school/organization get to select Usborne
Books of their choice from over 1300 titles
