Kid Fun Online

There are an infinite number of kid friendly activity sites on the web.  Here are just a few of the ones our family enjoys…

http://www.americangirl.com/fun/ – my 8 year old daughter digs this fun and games section of the Am. Girl site.

http://www.thekidzpage.com/New educational and fun games, activities and printables added on a regular basis for kids, schools and family fun.

http://pbskids.org/ – need I say more?  Kids can interact with all their favorite PBS characters, and learn while having fun.

http://Conspiracy365us.com – the up to the minute site about the suspenseful new thriller series of books for 11 – 15 year olds.  Read the first 28 pages online and you’ll be hooked.   (reserve your copy now with your Usborne book rep and you can receive the first edition 6 weeks before it’s available at retail outlets!)

http://www.funbrain.com/kidscenter.html – loads of educational games that are very cool too!  Like the name states – it is truly Fun for your Brain

http://www.usborne-quicklinks.com/usa/usa_homepage.asp – if you own any Usborne Books that say “Internet Linked” on the cover, you need to check this out!  There are games, downloadable graphics (great for reports), videos, printables and more that go along with the content of your internet linked books!

http://kids.nationalgeographic.com/ – A 2008 Parent’s Choice Winner – games, videos, contests, stories – an animal lovers paradise

http://ldd.lego.com/ – Lego Digital Designer – my 10 and almost 14 year olds thinks this site is very cool. Design your little hearts out!  (This requires you to download the free online design tool – we’ve had a blast with it).

http://play.lego.com/en-US/default.aspx – plenty of other Lego related games, downloads and such.

Post your favorite online sites for kids.
